Curatorial project
Le titre de l’exposition est emprunté à la philosophe et professeure Donna Haraway et à son Manifeste cyborg. Certaines des œuvres mettent le spectateur dans une situation d’inconfort en représentant un corps contraint, tour à tour déguisé, étouffé, caché, hybridé. Ces propositions plastiques à la sensualité grinçante matérialisent les problématiques d’une génération de femmes qui contredisent les représentations dominantes.

The title of the exhibition is borrowed from philosopher and professor Donna Haraway and her "Cyborg Manifesto". Some of the works put the viewer in an uncomfortable situation by representing a constrained body, in turn disguised, suffocated, hidden or hybridised. These plastic proposals with their gritty sensuality materialise the issues of a generation of women who contradict dominant representations.
